We are located in the village of Delmar, NY, just south of Albany, the capital of New York.  We have a full program of worship activities, community outreach and support services, educational programs and just plain fun!

History
The Delmar Reformed Church is a church made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are proud to be part of the Reformed Church in America, one of the oldest denominations in the United States. It was founded by Dutch settlers in New York City in 1628. The Delmar Reformed Church was founded in 1841 and is the oldest church in our village.

The mission of the Delmar Reformed Church is to...

"Grow God's Kingdom" by:

• partnering with God to plant the seeds of faith,
• assisting individuals and the community as they grow and develop their faith in Jesus,
• reaping the fruit of faith and sharing it with others.

Website Goals & Your Comments

On September 1, 2004, we launched this completely redesigned website. After a year of discussions with the church leadership and a major reprogramming effort, we now have this site which is meant to meet 5 major goals:

• To use the web as a tool for ministry - including an invitation to  worship, research tools and resources for Christian learning, and outreach to the community.
• To use the web as a tool for communication, administration, and community building within our church.
• To be inviting and easy to use
• To have content of interest to young and old
• To be low cost and easier to maintain with current content.

This site is full of multi-media content and interactive features.  See the Sound and Photo galleries for music from our worship and  pictures from the activities of our church family.  The Member Services section has interactive functions like forums, an opinion poll, subscription to the email version of the Informer newsletter and other resources for church members.
